Rough sketch with some color:

I will change him some during the modeling, I cant get all the shapes correct for now since I suck at drawing :)

Anyway, he will be a humanshaped angel, but with lots of his flesh gone. He will have dark crystals there instead. Im thinking that his colors will be pretty dark, maybe with some blue in it.

I got the basemesh done and I have started some sculpting.
The mesh is about 9300 polys, so I got some left if I need them.
I got into some trouble in Zbrush so I had to try to render a normalmap in maya, thats the one you can see on the wingbase. I also got some pics from Zbrush on the wings.
There will be some black feathers on those later.

His body is going to be covered with red powerful glowing tatoos.
Ive been sketching out some ideas today:

He will have the CGS logo on his left chest, something that goes from the back and over his right shoulder and stops on his right chest. One will be around the stomach and something down on his human left leg. Oh and one on his ribs on the left side.

I have positioned "crystal" in a pose I think I like... Not sure yet about everything, this will be the presentation shot.
Anyway, I got some texturing done and a tiny bit sculpting done since last update. The hires isnt done yet, so the normalmaps arent as good as they will be.
What do you think?

Im thinking about skipping the wings, the feathers isnt looking that great and I just plainly dont like them.
This gives me some UV-space and more polys to play with.
Im thinking that something like this might replace the wings.

Crappy sketches I know :) Ill modify them more in 3Dspace.

So the wings are ditched and replaced them with an armor that enhances his ability.
I think the sculpting is done, and the textures is about 80% done.
Im not sure where to put the portal and how his stance should be...

Repositioning, new light-setup, more work on the texture and a pedestal :)
Ill be working on the cloth covering his privates today.

Presentation and text image is pretty definitive. The beauty shot might be changed.
