I started on some concepts today. Not sure what race I will go with, but I am leaning towards the Demon side hehe. I am not used to drawing concepts for my projects, so this will be a good experience and opportunity to practice it.
So I drew up a concept for an abomination. It is still pretty simple, but i will add some details to it.
Nice Sketch :)
Try to sketch some forms in a totally loose way, and take ideas from that scribles, search for nice forms and potencial designs. You can refine your draw and design from that loose sketches. Only a comment :) Good luck ! Cheers!

Thanks Ferx. I will try my next concepts that way.

I tried to be a little looser with a new concept and came up with this. Just trying out different things :)
So great improvement, really cool
Dont be afraid to draw the both sides of your character to no look symmetrical, some different and subtle details on the right and left side. Maybe your character need a more large legs, to look a bit more on proportion, only a comment. Cheers!!

Thanks Ferx. I tried drawing more concepts, but was not too happy with the results. I need to practice drawing more often.
I started doing concepts using Zspheres in Zbrush. Just started learning how to use it. Can't put much detail on it, but I am just using it to find a basic silhouette/form I like. I will continue doing these for a couple days, then I will narrow it down to about 2. I will use photoshop to add more detail to the concepts.
This is what I have so far.http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn178/HAIRYSN0WMAN/ZsphereConcept1.jpg
Still working on the torso, head and wings for this one.

I worked on the details of the concept, unfortunately I lost the detailed concept of the body (got corrupted on my flash drive) So all I have is the head. I do not want to go back and redraw the concept (I still got it in my head, and I do not have time to resketch it) so I am going to start the modelling process.
Well this is the concept with just the head hehe.
