i finally finished this model with my freetime at work haha!
there are few poses and some seperate parts of the armor!
hope u guys like it!

Thats pretty cool, the design is nice. Surprised this didnt get more replies. The cell shading looks pretty nice too, what did you use?

That's a pretty neat design. It has potential...

I'm wondering why don't you do a render of it in the 'normal way'? With textures and so forth?... it'll definitely look cool. You can also do a side render of it in NPR way.

Maybe doing a 'normal' render will increas the appeal of this thread?

Anyway, those are just my thoughts...

By the way, somehow I have problems posting this thread... need to quote reply from others then I can post. But the other threads are alright... weird. Anyone experience the same thing?

reuniom: no i didn't use any plug-in, i don't know about other softwares but u can just render out 2d lines in XSI

thhchx: yeah i am going to work on the texture soon, but right now i only use this model for my company's 2d graphic printouts, so it has to look more 2d haha, that's why i render it this way. but i agree with u, i will look cool when it's fully textured!

BiTMAP: haha, yeah, let me try, i want to see that too

Do you mind giving us an idea of how you got such a great cel render in XSI, my XSI celshaded renders never look that good.

hey KWAK, well i only applied the normal toon material on the object, and used a toon ink lens shader on the camera, nothing special, did u do the same thing as i did?
maybe u can play around different properties of the toon material or lighting!
