W... T... F... ?!? :curious:

LOL, I know it is so ridiculous right? It's really fun to draw too.
My idea for the background story of it is that one of the Demon Lords needed to save space in the Demon realm because it was so overcrowded. Soooooo, he decides to mash trios of the undead together. It works like a charm the "Trombies" take up less space and,as an added bonus, are three times as deadly.

A few pic of the Trombie in different poses, I like the scorpion one. I am trying to figure out if they would move awkwardly or together in unison. All comments welcome!

I am thinking of making each Zombie a seperate race. Maybe one an elf and another a human and some other race. Any suggestions?

03 March 2009, 02:57 PM
i'm not sure using races like human and elf for abomination class is ok for rules but i hope it does. because a dwarf and an elf perfectly fits your concept. your guys look like they hate each other, so it would be great to see a dwarf there with hatred on his face, next to an elf!

Different heads sound like an interesting idea, perhaps you can also give them different limbs as well, and other gadgets too, give it a shot and c how it goes ;)

03 March 2009, 01:27 PM
Hey, thanks for the suggestions guys. I tried out a few variations.

Can anyone tell me how to add the Dominance War IV link to my signature?

03 March 2009, 07:12 PM
they're really funny :D great.
for signature: find "userCP" link at the top of page, on your control panel you can edit anything you want.

Thanks for the help guys! here is a quick sketch. Nothing much new here, I just wanted to get back into the swing after taking the weekend off. I think I will try to inject some more realism into these concepts.

This is my concept sheet, does anyone have any suggestions for improvement?

03 March 2009, 07:25 PM
Hi, here is a start to my final image.

03 March 2009, 04:16 PM
here is an update

04 April 2009, 01:16 PM
Started adding some texture and colors

Concept sheet is OK and the final piece is coming along trombilicius. If you have time to spare, a few more trombies in the back would be great. Keep it coming.

04 April 2009, 12:17 PM
Thanks GaeasHerald, I will be reworking my concept sheet to add some closeups about specific details like buckles, straps, stiches, etc.. I will be adding some Trombies in the final image background, probably just silouettes with the red CG talk symbol standing out a bit.

Here is the latest.

Can anyone tell me why I can't post large images? They appear for a while then vanish. I am kind of noob at it.

04 April 2009, 01:35 PM
I would suggest uploading the images externally, on a site such as imageshack. Then just link it in using [img] tags (or the insert image button when you post) -- just don't make it too large.

Though it would be easy to flee, for they must have serious problems following one ;)
I also would add some more of them in the back. And I think it will come to texturing later.
Have you thought about the possibility to make those three heads having different opinions? One of them might cry to the other or take his hand an force the other heads to walk the way he wants to.
And they might become more rotten, don't they?

Alas, I like your idea of a cemetary as the setting.

04 April 2009, 07:44 PM
Thanks Untamed, I figured out that it was a security issue on the site I had it posted on, I didn't have it set for public viewing.

DeadInTheAttic, thanks for your suggestions. I have begun to give it some better texturing.

04 April 2009, 02:47 PM
