Class: Demon - Abomination

Here's what I've got so far... (Sorry about quality, used a camera since I was too lazy to connect the scanner)
It's a Demon Abomination that jumps onto people and "hugs" them, then injects a drug with his mouth-claw-thing and proceeds to consume them, using the mouth placed along his stomach.
I like him, but I feel he lacks something... He's a bit bland.
I'll see if I can think of something, or I might go with another race/class entirely.

Hey mate nice idea :)
I think maybe you could have something else instead of just normal arms and hands, you could have hand on the back legs say but on the front you could have huge claws or tenticles that would help rap round the victime. Or maybe even multiple arms big ones to hold on and smal little arms to tear away at the flesh. :p

I explored some other ideas, went with a Demon Prince this time.
The last guy felt a bit plain/basic/easy and also I had no idea how to fit him with our colors and emblem. This guy I feel is both more interesting in design and more of a challenge to model/texture fitting with this magnitude of contest.
Thoughts? I kinda feel like it's going to be this guy with some tweaks...
Or maybe I'll fuse my two ideas and give him a stomach-mouth and a drug-claw...

Your first concept is really original and interesting, dont totally give up on it.
Maybe fuse both of them, but I think the fundamental idea's you got behind your first demon are to strong to throw away

I gave the hybrid idea a try, and I'm feeling pretty good about it. Will probably need a few more revisions, but I feel like I'm getting somewhere with this now.
I guess he's still classified as "Demon Prince" (Death fusion probably), he's too human to be an Abomination.
Since he no longer has the "clingy" physique, I gave him kind of hooks for weapons to catch the enemy and draw them in.

Your original idea reminds me of the spawn series demons. If you haven't looked that up recently, check it out. You mind find some interesting ideas to apply to your idea. Good Luck.

Sorry guys, the original Abomination idea is kinda discarded at this point. It's cute, but it's a bit boring to model/texture. Just a take blob, copy paste up four arms, draw random muscles and grossness in mudbox, flesh texture.
I want something more challenging, a humanoid with different materials like metal, flesh, fabric, hair etc :)
So I'm going with the hybrid! Gonna sketch-evolve him a few times and then on to modelling, cause I'm eager to start that part.
Here's a quick one:
Hey Yinn, your starting concepts look great. I like the huge torso beast mouth ! Maybe you should try to have it bigger, from the real mouth to the bottom it would make your abomination more savage and scary... I can already imagine your character splitted in two while he's attacking with this huge mouth

He's more of a "Demon Prince" than an "Abomination" class now, but making his big mouth join with his normal mouth might be a good idea... Removing the middle part of the skull-jaw-helmet-thing and just having it on the sides, letting the mouth go all the way up there. Gonna try it out some when I get home from work :)

Letting his stomach mouth merge with his normal mouth turned out great, I've been sketching a bit and I'm probably soon gonna settle for something.
Here's a sketch of the head... Not sure about his attire, but the anatomy is pretty much set now. I have some ideas for the clothes. And I skipped the skull-helmet-thingy, I thought his head got a bit busy with details.

There. The shoes I'm gonna leave open til later... It'll be either barefoot and dirty or some sort of boots I guess.
I think I will classify him as an Abomination actually, seems to fit better than Prince:
Abomination (includes undead)
Abominations are disfigured creatures and undead who make up 96% of all creatures in demonic dimensions. Abominations do not possess a fusion with any element and during combat, they use weapons or their bare teeth and claws to slaughter their foes.
Doesn't say he can't be humanoid or wear clothes(though I guess I'll ask to make sure...), and he fits into the undead and disfigured fighting with weapond and teeth.
Now I want to get started on the 3d!

Started sculpting some... Obviously heavy WIP at a quite basic stage, but you get the idea...
I should probably look up some references for heads, I just sculpted from memory for now.
Edit: Btw, the clothes/attire are not final... I've been having a few different ideas. I'll just let it unfold as I work on the mesh.

I thought I had once again not been able to finish in time, but then I saw the extended deadline...
So I thought, this weekend is free for me so maybe I can make it. I had to cut some corners though... I just exchanged his hands+weapons for hooks. Yay.
At this point I just want to at least finish in time, hehe. Crunch time!
