I like the insect look on those demons. I particulary like the one on the top-left corner.

Angel - a bio luminescent humanoid creature that possesses the ability of limited flight as well as the ability to channel his/her 'light' through a 'disc' on each hand. This disc is created by a pair of magic rings that the Angel wears on each hand. This disc acts like a magnifying glass and is able to focus the 'light' through itself creating a beam of laser-like intensity. The beams can be used to destroy minor machines and abominations, with long bursts to take down mid-sized opponents. By overlapping the two 'discs' the beam focus' to its greatest intensity able to cut down boss size enemies. In dire situations the Angel can take the 'discs' onto his/her self and amplify his/her natural bio luminescence into a huge blast of pure light energy sending a tremendous amount of large particle photons, disintegrating anything in the immediate blast radius and crippling and/or blinding (temporary or permanently) anything within a large radius. This blast is seldom used and may have other natural adverse effects. The result of using this extreme attack will considerably drain his/her energy and require rest to recover from its effects. During this time the natural bio luminescent 'glow' would diminish until his/her strength is recovered.
I'm definitely feeling more 'inspired' by this concept. Still working on a name though.

I love this idea. I was kicking around something like it this morning, but mine was not half as good as this, I would run with this one. You might want to add a little more detail to the character though so that it doesn't end up looking too simple. Overall great idea.
