Character's race: Machines
Class: War Machine
Name: Nuvsoie Machine Destroy
Dominance War IV Race: Machines
The accidental explosion of a research planet, together with its advance weapons research caused Machines to develop sentience in the beginning of Dominance War II. Machines are not able to use magic of any kind, however, they possess sophisticated technologies that are capable of generating various spectacular effects. Their primary initiative is to extinguish all life and to accomplish this they have three unit types.
These machine types are ALWAYS larger then 20x20x20 feet minimum. They are the assault units that make up the machine army. They are pure machines with no natural living parts (flesh) and only War Machines can be 100% vehicle, a mix between vehicle and robot, or a full robot.
Wish you a Great Competition for everyone!

starting the front.
starting the top.
little variation on the front of the machine.

David, I really dig your concepts for this piece, in love with your shape design, keep up the stunning work!
03-18-2009, 04:10 AM
very insect-like! I like it!
I'd like to see where you take this :D

JForbes: thank you so much for the kind words, but I feel that still there're incoherent parts like the next image,
Belindi: Thank you, not an specific insect but you are right, is a bit of Bionic Design with entomology like some of these animals (http://www.nmnh.si.edu/rtp/students/2007/images/entomology_tour_13.jpg).
Surely I need do more sketches to get something better.

Man, you've been very productive! To be honest these concepts aren't very clear to me. I see some shapes, lights and colours, but I can't exactly say what it's all about. When I would have done a machine/robot I would have tried to make a core out of gears , engine and all the stuff that keeps a machine running. And over this core I would put the designelements to make this piece cool looking. You don't have to go my way, but maybe you could implement some parts, that make this warship a bit more functional? my 2 cents :)
03-21-2009, 05:39 PM
sure...I was looking the main structure, then I'll be working in the parts and as you said functionality... thanks for the advice!.

I've been following this idea, and with this to the final..adding details by the way and explanations of each part:

cool idea, very interesting , a lot of information going on here nice !!

PeterBraeley: Thank you, still in progress. Good luck with your entry also!,
Update of the concept...front view is not complete at the top of the machine,
EDIT: Rules...I don't know if it is right that machine can fly. ( :hmm: ?)

more changes: :wavey:
You are working really hard , great! :D Like your concept of the flying bug and for sure can fly, the rules allow it :) Maybe you need to put a bit more mechanical and robotic look, only a comment :) Again, nice work! Waiting for more updates! Cheers!!
