View Full Version : Nuke: How to write multi-channel EXRs?

Is there a way to write a multichannel EXR out of nuke; specifically one that contains all channels in the scene?

While cache is useful, sometimes it makes more practical sense or would be faster if I could write out the multi-channel EXR part way through my sequence, then read-in that output and continue. The way that would make most sense (other than cache) is exporting as a multi-channel EXR, and then read that data in at the same spot you split your node-tree.

You can just render out to exr and chose "All Channels" then everything piped in the write node should be saved.
Use "Copy" to bring in anything you want it to be saved.

For some reason I missed "all" up at the top of the list. It's always the blindingly obvious things that stump you the most.
