View Full Version : Painter resources?
07 July 2003, 08:06 AM
I'm certain this thread would be better suited for the General Discussions forum, but I felt that I would get better results if I asked the 2d artists themselves.
I've been using Painter 7 for about a week now, and have found there are very few resources available on the internet. Could anyone point me in the direction of Painter resources? Whether on the internet or in printed form? Any books that are useful?
Thank you very much.

None of you can recommend some books? How did you all learn Painter? Just messing around? Classes?
any thoughts on this one?
Painter 7 WOW! (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0201773627/qid=1057708845/sr=2-3/ref=sr_2_3/102-8483905-4953769)
I saw another one at the local chapters, but can't recall the title.
Thanks for any responses,

Hey this thread would help me a lot as well... I got painter last week but ive only had about an hour with it really... if that.
Plus i got a new tablet so its all a little strange ;)
I found lunatique's tutorial (http://www.enchanted.prohosting.com/goodies/tutorials/mood_1-tutorial/mood1_tutorial.htm) and just checking out his work i think that will help. Also, prob check out jeroentje's hair tutorial (http://www.geocities.com/superjeroentje/tut/hair.html) as im sure that has techniques that will be useful.
Good luck, hope you have fun with it, i certainly am. When i fine enough time ;)
