('m very pleased to participate in this contest. Jacek Yerka is great artist. I never heard about him before, but I'm glad that I found him trough this contest. Working on a image inspired by Yerka offered me to get to know the artist ,and discover the similar passion for surrealism.
My image shows a little bit different surreal style, it is presented by realistic situation(objects) and if you look it in different angle it is surreal. I think it depends of the observers character.
The main theme is caffeine. It doesn't matter if it is from coffee or tea. Everyone has that special time in the afternoon to consume it. The monastery on the rock is a symbol for the first people that were using the caffeine to stay awake during prays.
There is always fear of overdosing so I "hided" another symbol. The city is always busy and working perfectly with the stimulating coffee fuel..
The cold winter morning depicted with the sugar is a symbol reminder of this present winter time that this image is created..
And I've noticed that Mr. Yerka has a special place in his painting for the simple enjoyment of coffee time..

Thank you Randy for the supporting comment.
I hope for more responses about my image because I want to read the reactions of different people, especially colleague artists ...
