Decided to change the way I update a bit. For major milestones (IE Completion of a certain area, I'll post a reply, but for minor stuff just to show you where I'm going with a certain area I'll constantly update this first post, and at the end I'll post a compilation of all my WIP images.

Latest WIP:

Decided I'm going to have to make the main part a good bit wider as to hold 2 seats so no fiddling with certain designs to make a progression from narrow rear end to near car size mid section.

I noticed there was not any Ghost Buster love going on so that's where I'm going to start, and since most are doing the original themes, gotta go with something crazy here and my own.

Imagine if you would the scene. The rustle and bustle of New York City. Millions of people all gathered into one city where people are dieing every day. Those souls that have unfinished business decide to stick around and torment the guilty and the innocent collateral victims of their lives.

A group of young men decide to aide the citizens of their love filled city and embark to vanquish the haunting menaces. At first they converted an old station wagon into their ghost capturing machine on wheels, but soon realized that one at a time is no longer going to cut the big apple.

This is where I come in ladies and gentlemen. For they have hired me to design their new fleet of Ghost Busting transportation, the means to maximize their imprint on the biggest city in their neighborhood. I present you the Ghost Busting Arsenal of Wheels.

Ok so I'm no play write, but that's my concept here. As always there's most likely not enough time in my life to accomplish my over zealous ideas, but it's fun to try. On to vehicle #1. I have to start with Dr. Peter Vankman's car. The crazy outgoing risk taking who gives a rats rear end kind of car. So of course he's going to need something that's fast, maneuver's on a dime and well something he can pick his next vict. . . I mean date in. So out of love for the next generation of 3 wheeled concept car designs, Here's some reference photos of various concepts. Mostly the T-Rex by Campagna, and the Volkswagon Gx3.

Paint Scheme's will follow suit with the origional car's design as I want the viewer to see it and shout, "Who you gunna call!"

Brad that's a really interesting concept. A ghostbusting caravan racing through New york, Picking up ghosts and chicks left right and center. I love it.

Can't wait to see more!

First off I figured Wheels would be a good spot to start just to get the ball rolling since I can reuse the wheel between all the vehicles if need be. I Want to make unique rims for each vehicle, but time will tell if i have the time. Here is pretty much what Peter's wheels will be, few changes aside.

Small update. Today's the first chance Ive had to work on this since last update. Finished the wheel innards and the drive train / belt and the spring system. Starting on the rear end of the car with the profile somewhat shaped out. Trying to figure out if i want the muffler to come out of the side bottom or the back. Anyways here's the update.

nearly done with the base of the rear end now. Going to add in Lights / liscence plate and other details next, then move to the front once the rear end is all tied in. The back details look a little off atm, but I promise with the lights it wont look so out of whack.

Edit: oh and the tire will be replaced. just something I use for mock ups.

Ok so to clear my mind on the body issues i'm having, I decided the Tire would give me a good break. This is the first tire that I've created all on my own. Usually rely on downloaded displacement files and the such. Still need to smooth out the edges, but it's good for now until I clean it up. Didn't think it would be as tedious as it was, but first time's always the worst. Smoother and cleaner from here on.

Shouldn't be able to work on this for the next few days so here's my update till then. Really wanted to get more of the body designed out, but here's what I have. (Distracted by the movie boondock saints).

As you can see, i'm remodeling the body as originally I went with a silly method of strait to high poly and made it exceptionally difficult to adjust and made it hard to fix certain artifacts. Lesson learned. But all in all, I'm much happier with this appearance as it's much sleeker and more of a playboy look to it, well so far. Look for updates in a few days, or Tomarrow if I manage to win the lottery or if some rich lady falls in love with me.
