LC #42 Pipers Alley

View Full Version : Palette

( did this in 3dsmax, most of the textures were done in Photoshop, as was the final composite.

I've always loved surrealism and I had a lot of fun imitating Yerka's style. I hope I achieved it.

The idea behind this piece is that artists bring life to amazing worlds through their work. Here even when the artist is gone his tools and drawings are coming alive.

I really like the concept, moreover I almost executed the same idea, I mean his painting palette. Finally I decided something else, hope I will finish in time, but I still think that:
This is a nice way to respect his style, but keep original.

Good Luck to you!

Very pretty. Your details are so delicate it is a joy to look at this. The broken painting is a wonderful idea. Great work. Congratulations and good luck!
