it looks like the rendermpa is missing some geo here.
I am not in front of XSI right now but you should have a way to set the distance of the virtual camera. Try to increase it.
( test with lower sample value to get a fast result )

thanks man, tell a history^
open a scene, import 2 obj files- hipoly and low one,

then make- AO samples to around 200, 2048 resolution, and very high properties.

then was long render and scary final- mamy many polygons was empty,
make resolution to 512 and quality to low and AO samples to 100 give me good map without any artifacts
res 1024 , middle quality, 100 samples give me clear render too
res 1024 ,high quality, 100 samples give me clear good render.
and 2048, high quality, and 100 samples give me this- u can see it upper

this experiments stole 24 hours of my time, maybe any one allready solve this problem or can tell what can i do?

Never really had much trouble with AO bakes in XSI. You might want to check that the normals of the polys missing in the bake are facing correctly. Also, make sure there are no faces missing in your UV map. Looking at the UV map as a whole it would be kind of difficult to tell. If you set the UV editor to show only selected faces you should be able to tell if the UVs are present. Are you using Ultimapper for this?

yes baking use ultimapper,
i can show u normal map created with it early with this model on 2048 res, and high quality..

UV's (

normalmap (

i think UV is clean, some peoples on other forum says- *its XSI 7 problem( i use 7.1) to bake on resolution highter then 1024 but.. then how devil may cry and metal geag solid created..

We generally bake 2048s at my job. We've only recently switched to XSI 7 though.
