the metal is great
.. Ah canon s10 ... used to have one, good cam.. for 2.1mp ..
i would just increase AA because it seems low. plus the specular/light on the top right edge of the camera is too strong.

your textures/shaders are great, even on other stuff u did that i saw on your site.
the lowpolys ..dont look like low polys, which is great. ..
your webdesign is also very nice, well done.

he means post those wicked cool 3d house models on a thread here on cgtalk that are on your homepage. they are badass

07 July 2003, 06:39 AM
lol, i think u stole a design scheme from cgtalk... hehehe... but holy geez i thought that camera was a picture and was thinking "dude, u can't post photos"... hahahha.

GREAT JOB Mischka1:thumbsup:

07 July 2003, 08:20 AM
You forgot the mark of the cam dude... not sony, not fijifilm but.. some original name.. its up to you to search.

Stole a design from scheme cgtalk ?
Cumon.. all cams look the same, Square and Cylinder that's it.

lovely! u have some talent and great lighting in wrks on ur website!!!!

07 July 2003, 09:33 AM
lookin really damn good!:applause: only thing i'd say is blur the background more. and the reflections on the left side of the floor look kinda weird, somehow like they are stretched, maybe just an issue of the reflection pic.

07 July 2003, 09:36 AM

The texture is excellent

I like your bump. is that textured? or procedural?

07 July 2003, 02:44 PM
I, along with everyone here it seems, really dig that material that's on there!! Care to enlighten us with a 'how-I-did-it'? What's textured and what's procedural? Please, share your knowledge and skills!!:D

07 July 2003, 04:43 PM

AS real as real can get, I know many artists don't really appreciate still life work, but the amount of effort and detail you have to put your mind to is intensive, and when you pull it off this well, it should be congratulated. Very nicely done, as mentioned the metal is really well done.

You have received the CGtalk choice award .Please feel free to display this image anywhere you like! Great work!

upon receiving this award, it guarantees you a spot in the cgtalk gallery hall of fame ( - which you are now placed

P.S. Please email me @ so I can send you the award .psd file

Whoa cant believe it.

Thanks to everybody for voting or however such things happen.

Its my first award.

On this point i also want to answer a question :

The texture is not procedural. Its a bump map created in PS.

( noise. motion blur/radial blur, sharpen etc. )

Also thanks to 3dblasphemy for his help.

welldone

This is really well done and i especially like the metal

Keep up the good work

Nice image man

some critic:
i think you have to loose a bit of a bump, now its too pronounced making the machine looking smaller (in combination with the width of the scratches)
also, unsharp has left some alias in the bottom and in general it substracts something from the realism of the image specially in the lettering.
The right lower edge of the flash needs some definition

One thing still, the strap part is great!

10 October 2003, 06:05 PM
Yup, the texture are excellent....:applause:

11 November 2003, 01:22 AM
very,very realistic!!!:buttrock: :applause:
