I am trying to build an eye that will be able to close and function in 3D. An image of the model is attached. How should I model the eyelids so they are capable of being rigged to close?

I am using 3ds max 2009. Note that the topology is a bit off, I just expanded the size of the eyes.

There's really not much to explain.. you just model the eyelids using the same radial loop patterns you've used for the rest of the orbital process. Just make sure you have a couple extra edge loops running through it, because when the eyelid is closed you want to make sure it retains its volume.
