Especially the translucent plastic material.
What kind of tech are you using?
Ps. Where can I pick one of these up?

I used MAx for the Modelling and Vray for to Render.
The Plastic material was achieved my using VRays Glossy refration effect.

I love the simplicity and the materials are really nice! What were the rendering times? And what spec machine have u got?
Vray is cool, my personal rendering system of choice :)
Keep up the good work.

Render times were quite long. Each single mouse took 1hr!!!

very nice renders...the only thing missing to me is little grooves in the wheel...but i spose not all mice have them.. in any case well done~
07 July 2003, 02:28 PM
This mouse does not have grooves on the wheel... so many people have asked me. The mouse is only about 7cm long... thats why the shell appears bumpy... cos the camera is very close to the small object :P

Amazing render.... I really wish somebody told me how to get renders like that :)
