...photograph of a soccer ball. I'm calling shenanigans.

Your gonna have to prove this one.

It also looks like you matted a black circle on there to make the sillouete a circle.

how can i prove it? will a wireframe b enough or sum mor evidence?

Um, you could post some different lighting with a floor plane under it. Maybe rotate it a bit too.

Oh and a shaddow on the floorplane.

Yes..please prove this isn't a pic..I too would like to proved wrong......I agree...rotate it a bit and put a shadow plane under it....let's see:hmm:

I dont think thatas a photo, i think he followed the tutorial in 3dworldmag from a few months ago. Did a pretty good job too.
Its the poor compression that makes it look more real.
my 2 cents.

I'll be damned.

Good job. Consider my disbelief before to be a compliment.

07-02-2003, 09:45 PM
Well danger duck, you can take all of these disbeliefs as the ultimate compliment! Nothing like mistaking a cg for the real thing, great job.

He wrote that this is he's first model and that he followed a tutorial (except for the texture, which is really good BTW), so obviously he's a beginner when it comes to CG.
I dont think that this is a place for tounting people, try to keep your comments only as critics.

i'm not making fun of him, so relax bucko!
most people learn the essentials like print screen when they first start learning about computers. and most people don't learn 3d until they learn computers real well... so you see my confusion?

07-03-2003, 09:44 PM
i do no how 2 use print screen, an i did b4. its just that i didnt realize that that would prove that i did this.

srry if any confusion caused.
