Hi Folks,

Gloomshade is a network of artists that was established to bring a fresh cinematic style to animation and live action projects and now, we are trying to kick off with our very first music video. The music video is for Syntax-E's "Big Love" ( It is a fantastical love story that will be put together with a combination of 2D/3D and Live action footage. The goal is to put together a music video that is fun, energetic and take advantage of the different digital art styles we have available.

We do have a mentor producer in San Francisco that is following our progress and is very interested in the production, AND can hopefully help us with marketing if the product turns into greatness. Unfortunately it is non-paying gig at the moment. However, we are in the process of applying to some grants and I hope that lead to somewhere, but it is likely to be a great opportunity for networking and portfolio work :)

We are still in pre-production, but would like to begin recruit artists to come together for the 3 minute music video.

The story reel:

Below we knotted down the positions we need to fill:

A Producer/Production Manager
2D Concept Artist
3D Character Artist
Set Dresser
Motion Graphics Artist
Character Animator 2D/3D
Lighting Artist
Rendering artist

...and anyone else that have the skills and passion to be part of something joyous!

If you have any interest in these positions, please fill out the form: (select *Syntax-E* in the drop down menu)

What models do you need for this project? Any characters?

Hey Yoroba,

The main cast will be live action characters. However, the project will be developed by a willingness to add characteristics into significant storytelling elements, so there might be some challenges that suits you.

Feel free to email me to discuss a potential collaboration: (aka ole)
