very nice work!

i love it:love:

07-02-2003, 06:44 AM
Wow, great concepts, i adore the colours and movement that first one has.

07-02-2003, 06:54 AM
Wow, these are fabulous!

The second one reminds me of Haradaya, which is no bad thing. Very nice work.

07-02-2003, 07:08 AM
I love your take on the nordic styled chick... norse are my fav. And well it just has a nice "cute" style to it i guess? But its not overly sexual (nor are any of your pieces) and its actualy pretty nice :D

07-02-2003, 07:11 AM
Stop the press. We got a new front page :D

My favorite is the pretty girl with the black hair in the excellent blue dress

07-02-2003, 07:16 AM
Nice work. Your characters inspire me to rework my own medieval characters

07-02-2003, 07:17 AM
Lovely work.

On the first piece I especially like the dynamic folds you have in the cloth aswell as the very subtle transparency in the red blouse. Very nice attention to detail.

07-02-2003, 07:22 AM
These are very nice. I love the backgrounds and character costume designs on the first images, but the second one is my favorite. I like the sketchy style of the lines and the colors seem more moody.

Excellent 1st post! Post more when you can!

/me likes the first one the best ;)

I'd love to see more art from you!

agreed! always good and refreshing to see art where females characters aren't over sexualised. Although you'd expect that, as deed is a female artist (judging from what I can make out from her site, altho I can't read the language tho) :)

07-02-2003, 07:44 AM
awesome stuff dude. i especially like the second girl on the first pic. and that black sword is so cool

07-02-2003, 07:57 AM

Excellent work! pretty colors..

07-02-2003, 08:29 AM
This is some very nice work! I especially like the girl in red with the short hair (I like the firey ones). The sense of movement and style is very sublte and makes your work very refreshing!

The eyes in the second one, the archer, they are awesome.

:( I was born in the wrong part of the world...

07-02-2003, 08:51 AM
great work. Some really outstanding color choices especially in the first one

07-02-2003, 09:08 AM
Your pictures are both refreshing and inspiring. We look forward to seeing more or your work.

Welcome to CGtalk

07-02-2003, 09:17 AM
very beautiful....... i really like the colors scheme, and first one's style is wonderful..... however, i think the eyes lack details compared to the other parts of the character IMHO (*or may be i just cant see it very clear because its a compressed version).....but i still love your work

07-02-2003, 09:22 AM
Very like you stroke, nice work!

07-02-2003, 09:32 AM

07-02-2003, 01:29 PM
Technically very accomplished but *yawns* I'm sooooo bored of all this manga/ anime style. Can we please see something more stylistically original next time.

07-02-2003, 01:40 PM
 amazing i really love the characters, especially the red haired woman:applause: I want to see more of your works!

07-02-2003, 02:09 PM
nice!! asian style and fantasy in one good harmony :):applause:

07-02-2003, 02:13 PM
Awsome, and anyone even noticed the Peacocks? That's really original, and the second one is great too, it's a perfect representation of a Valkery (very human one but great!)

07-02-2003, 02:22 PM
What weapon is the girl in red holding. I never seen such kind of weapon before.

07-02-2003, 02:35 PM
ah, nice. reminds me very much of old swedish artists illustrating childrens books :). very water color like.

Chris Antonelle
07-02-2003, 02:41 PM
beautiful, clean, crisp work
i love the weapons and the backgrounds are excellent!

07-02-2003, 03:00 PM
i love the first two...they look like goddesses! but the third one i kinda dont like..maybe its because of the colour scheme.

anyway Spectacular work!

07-02-2003, 03:19 PM
OOOoooo Very yummy!
Nice work! Was this PS or painter?
Keep 'em comin!

07-02-2003, 03:39 PM
Woooow, deed. You did really nice work, it looks so amazing. Full of Asian culture, Maybe you will create more character, scene, prop in the same style for a film?. :)

Well done
Keep post up more

07-02-2003, 03:39 PM
It's nice to see a pretty female character that doesn't have her boobs hanging out, nice work, definetly unique.

07-02-2003, 03:47 PM
Great style and color selection. It all fits together really well and I like how unique and stylish it is.

Keep up the great work:thumbsup:

07-02-2003, 04:32 PM
BEAUTIFUL!! Love it to death man. Just LOVE it!

07-02-2003, 05:42 PM
What an ARTIST!!! Flat OUT AWESOME!!!

I especially like the blue Valky in the first painting. The peacocks are a great theme of her beauty. Love the look in her face, love her face...matter a fact I'm just in love with her. Nice Armour and chest plate especially the trim. The sword is awesome especially the snakes at the hilt. The flow and lines of beauty are very sensitive. Stupendous.

I also like both styles of painting.:applause:

07-02-2003, 06:11 PM
Very nice. They have hint toward more traditional Chinese paintings (brush and ink) - though very modernised. There's also a touch of anime/manga style look.

Maybe you can try the 1st image with actual brush and ink and on 'suan' or chinese rice paper? It'll be really interesting and cool.

I like the sketchy look of the second one too.

Keep up the good work.

07-02-2003, 06:32 PM
They all are very sexy :D ! It's so nice to se some traditional work

Changes oft Come slowly, this is the first time i've seen this particular style, it is most definatly pushing in a newer direction, YES the faces are anime/manga, however the porpotioning isn't, nor is the style of everything else. And it can be the first step into a new style. So stop bitching about menga/anime (i gave that up a while ago) and start making a new style that can become a popcult.

07-02-2003, 11:31 PM
these are lovely. the most inspiring thing i've seen for some time.
they have a wonderful painterly aesthetic and oooze style. excellent work! post more!

07-02-2003, 11:41 PM

07-03-2003, 12:59 AM
Most impressive

07-03-2003, 01:01 AM
I just looked on my wall, and the second of the pictures looks very much like the moon goddess down by Mucha...any correlation? You almost have the pose the same way as well...looking over the other picture as well, I can see the same type of feel in that.

07-03-2003, 02:30 AM
Nice character design, and your cloth very good...

07-03-2003, 02:36 AM
From Minkuen (He's from South Korea too):

good work!!!!!!!!

07-03-2003, 06:51 AM
Thanks for all the comments and I really appreciate them..

the first one is an artwork for 'The Legend of Mir III', an on-line game.

[NOV]: Coloring... It is only the digital technique. (photoshop and painter).
[Mahlikus]: I used Photoshop to paint picture. but I used Painter to paint the lotus background.
[thhchx]: I like traditional Chinese painting. I made an attempted to add traditional Chinese painting touch to the picture by digital.
I scanned several korean papers, chinese drawing papers and used them to paint the Lotus leaves.

07-03-2003, 10:20 AM
amazing~! background and the costumes are awesome~!

07-03-2003, 11:34 AM
very nice , very successful works deed!
I love it !

07-03-2003, 11:02 PM
OMG Awesome stuff!

I really like the contrast in the first image, the background looks like watercolor while the characters look more solid and painterly.

And the second! What can I say! Love the sketchiness!

That is amazingly beautiful. The mixture of anime-style isn't overtly "JAPANESE HENTAI OTAKU" anime style... which I praise you for... and it is really quite refreshing. Amazingly done with great design, composition and sense of style.

I wanna draw and model like you crazi Koreans in Korea!

Alas, I'm a Korean in America... hehe.. no luck. (:

Really nice picture :D I like the violet hair'ed girls costume the most ^^

01-23-2005, 09:26 PM
really nice character designs, the first one reminds me of japanese game art design, i think that it will be amazing to see the 3d verision of the them ' cause the 2d looks great already. the second piece looks good too, but compared with the first one, seems like less color contrast, it brings away the focus. overall, really good job. i really like your style, that would be interesting to see the black and white sketch of them.:bounce:
