Maya 2008 promotion:-
"......up to 30 times faster for a 22k face poly mesh, and Poly Smooth
is now up to 4 times faster"
I've also noticed that Michael Bazhutkin's rivet script no longer works in conjunction with the smooth node in Maya 2008. It's not the UV information thats being changed, it's something under the hood.
You can obviously duplicate a mesh and hook up it's shape node AND then smooth it, but then I have two meshes in my scene.
Work arounds? Apart from being forced to use Maya Unlimited with follicles?
