View Full Version : FG calculation in relation to scene scale

Is there any connection between how big your objects are in relation to the grid, when it comes to FG calculation time? Let's say your scene extends way beyond the default grid. Will that have a huge impact on how rays get cast?

I believe that if you have a big scene, then when you set a limits for FG (min/max) you would need to set some crazy values etc. I believe it's better to keep the scene comparable to the size of the grid (not too big, not too small). Trick is to watch how big camera/light gizmos are, if they are too small then scene is too big etc.
