View Full Version : Parallel Blendshape Problem

I'm having trouble with blendshapes in Maya. When I scale my rig, the blendshapes would not scale properly. Ive heard that using parallel blendshapes can cause problems with scale; but is there any way to make parallel blends work properly with scaling?

Had that problem too, ended up with the "Front of chain" option for the blendshapes

Have you tried reordering the deformationorder with the skincluster?

Ya it turned out it was a deformation order problem. Had a werid glitch where it would delete all my blendshapes when I tried to reorder them. So I just detached skin weights and reattached it and it seemed to have fixed the blendshape scaling problem.
