02 February 2009, 05:31 PM
Hi my names Fatih Dogan and im a 2d student currently studying at the university of hertfordshire, im in my final year so im in the progress of creating my graduation film so i thought i'd post a thread to show the progress of my film and get some good feedback from the experienced artitsts on cgtalk.

Script:the story is about a boy who prefers to play games rather than do he's homework until he is interrupted by he's mother and is told that he can't play hes games unless he does he's homework.
within the absence of he's mother he goes back to he's console games but the unexpected happens and the equations from he's homework book come together to form a monster, he shortly figures out that he has to solves the equations from he's homework to defeat the monster.

I've gone for a nickleodeon/cartoon network style since my target audience in the younger generation aged 7 - 13, I've firstly sketched out a variety of different possible characters to help narrow down my choice of chosing which one i would use then after picking my character i create turnarounds, emotion sheet, colour. tools: blue pencil, paper, scanner, illustrator

I've updated the pre visual by adding music/sfx to help the viewer get a better glimpse at whats going on, We are collaborating with the music students so this is to help give them an idea of what type of sounds i'd like to use in my film etc.

I've made drastic changes to the title sequence from the last one, add the title to the foreground of the establishing shot the fadeing it out as the camera zooms in and also add some small animation to the title with a squazsh and stretch to the text. feed back is welcome.
