View Full Version : Cage Deformer moves points when applied

05-03-2002, 05:35 PM
Hi people!

I'm having troubles with the Cage Deformer. When I apply to a point cluster
of an object a cage deformer, as soon as I end the picking session the
points move! Here is what I did:

The cage object:
-The cage was made from the same mesh as the object I want to deform with
the cage;
-I deleted every possible clusters and operators on the cage object;
-I freezed the transforms and freezed the center operator;
-I putted the cage object on the Scene_Root level;

The deformed object:
-This object has an envelope operator;
-I selected the points to be deformed and did an Assign To No Deformers;
-I created a cluster with these points;
-It is on this cluster that I want to apply the cage deform.

The cage object stays where it is, it's really the cluster that moves.

Am I missing something?

Merci - Thanks

Salut Dino,
