Wings3d, looking for advice on the muscle work on the chest and arms, which still doesn't look quite correct.

his chest is way too skinny for biceps that big, his pecs would probably tear if he ever used his biceps full strength.

It would help a lot if you had some concept sketch/drawing or similar to post. Since it's apparently VERY alien, it would be easier to see what should be improved if we knew what you have in mind.

That aside, I see some nasty tris and poles right where the upper arm connects to the lower, the ripples on the side of his chest and belly look more like cavities than muscular structures, and it's pretty hard to see how a decent spine should be able to fit into that torso.

Thanks for the advice, James and Zach. I would post a concept if I had one, but I did this all in wings, which was probably a huge mistake. Anyway, it was meant more than anything to be a learning project for wings.

I suppose I should have mentioned about the design: it's almost supposed to be a caricature of the classic alien. Of course he is way too built up for his own good, but that's sorta of intentional.
