Would anybody have some tips/tutoriials or ideas on how to create some wind blown debris and rubbish to be comped into a live action shot? Or if there is any free video clips of this anywhere?

Sounds to me like the best way would be to 3D it... then render your 3D-debris with an alpha, an composite that into your shot. :shrug:

Depends, what level of detail and complexity you wanna reach?

Could be done in 3D or emulated using particles or some shatter effect in 2D .
