Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a 3D short film project and I need your help for some special FX.
Actually I want to do motion graphics with a ping pong ball. I need some kind of light tail to follow my ball. I was wondering which way was the best: using 3ds max particles, composited mesh, or 3D compositing with after effects,trapcode+ tracking? I don't know. Any help is welcomed :). If you don't know what I mean, this is an effect you can see in many video games such as soul calibur (the sword trail) or ninja's eye in metal gear solid.
