*furiously throws a reel together*

Haha. I love how he refers to it as a 3D 'erotic' movie...I can't see it being very erotic. Probably just going to be badly animated Poser model porn...

Best bit of that article:

He said the actresses would appear to be only a few centimetres (inches) from the viewers
Metric to Imperial - disappointing countless people for generations.

14th 3d scene:>
"careful with that...you'll poke my eye out!"

[typical 3d camera effect but with a new 'prop']

:D

edit: will it also have 3d surround sound audio tracks for the wonderful whah whah guitar track and saxaphone solo?

"He said the actresses would appear to be only a few centimentres (inches) from the viewers, who would have to wear special glasses to enjoy the 3D effects."

I imagine a small dusty cinema filled with old men sitting with their dark coats, black hats and some blue and red cardboard glasses.

Should we proud of it? Personally I have no religion and I have no limits for porn and violence but we rely on producing porn movies to survive in the 3D industry? (I know it is just Steroscopic effect but THEY are thinking about that in FUTHER way. Think about one day if we need to add sparkle FX in porn....)

If you read this article more carefully it has nothing to do with CG - They refer to 3D as stereo, I think.

Looking at this list here:

http://www.didik.com/3d_film.htm

and seeing entries like "Love in 3D, the ultimate intimate experience", I wonder if this really counts as a "first".

Meh.

Hey, porn has been said to have kept the movie industry afloat more than a few times. So why not the 3D? Shrug.

Will this thread be shut down for not having anything to do with computer graphics? Its definitely not any type of "CG News" that I'm familiar with. Mods?

Film and games related news have always been between well accepted and tolerated, since they are two of the main venues that CG is created for. Stereoscopy is at the forefront of trying to revitalize a chief market for CG contents.
With that in mind, in general terms this thread isn't OT enough to grant closure. The subject/genre might be, but as long as people keep it clean of graphic contents and the jokes don't become too explicit or in bad taste, it can probably stay up and die a quiet, natural death.

News are also ordered chronologically regardless of posts, so sooner or later it will drop to 2nd page and further down anyway.
