Would it be possible to use any part of an animation in an imported Biovison files in Motionbuilder 4.02 Freelancer edition?

Yes, you can import bvh file with the PE/freelancer edtion ...

did you mean, use a mocap file, keep say the walking part but have his hands doing something different than that the BVH file is doing.

You might be able in blending, i haven't done it yet, but would be curious as well.

Hi roguenroll,

I replied to your earlier post regarding this, but here is a quick and easy way to get the animation from just the lower portion of your character:

-Select the portion of your skeleton that you want to have animated

-Drop it into the first track in the Motion Blend tool

-Select the animation track and click Reset Cut

-Process this onto a new track
