It was done with MAX 5 using Spline and Poly modeling.

hey RubenLTN, I'm not sure what sort of creature you are creating, but for shoulders that wide you may want to consider the current length of the arms, they seem short. It could be an illusion to me from those things covering his forarms. You should also have him interacting alot more with that big capsule he seems to be carrying; more strain maybe, because the current angle of his back seems wrong, or just not pronounced enough. I feel you could do alot more with this fella. keep going :)

I definetly see what you are saying. The tank I do plan to make it more part of the character, I am not just going to leave it there hanging from his back :)
I'll double check the lengh of is arm...he is supposed to be a stylized creature, but if it's looking wrong I will check it.
Yes definetly the back needs to be more pronounced, thanks for pointing it out.

The arms don't necessarily bother me, but I don't quite get what he has on his hands. I don't think it really adds that much to the creature. I suppose they are some kind of handcuffs. At the very least remove the slender, spikey, hair things coming out of it. They are too fragile and detract from the overall look of the monster. If you want something to be huge and hulking, make it huge and hulking don't add dainty unecessary details.
I absolutely love the face. Really nice shape and nice use of polys. It doesn't appear that he has an inside to his mouth. I imagine you will add to this later.
As far as the tank on his back goes. Play around with its shape, don't go crazy with greebles. I can't wait to see the update. Please though, post a different angle. All I can see now is a 3/4 view.

hi rubin, that model is looking just fantastic, the only thing i can see wrong is the hands. are they suppose to be blocky like that?

Looks cool. I wish I could see a front/back render view. Is that a giant rocket on his back?

are you giving up on it rubin? the only thing i ever saw to critique was the hands. just curiuos if your still going to update this.

Hey tchanks Levitateme,
I left this model be for a while, I am not sure if I will go back to working on it. After reading your tutorials I kinda felt like doing some displacement stuff. Maybe using Zbrush if I find out how it works for that.

i think that your character has lots of personality
he is so strong , nice style and good handle of the shapes
the model looks very 3dimesonal
