Interesting... :lightbulb But I would imagine Photomodeling software would be able to achieve the same thing both faster and more accurately since it accounts for the position of your camera in 3D space. Still, this might be helpful for some texturing work...

The camera trick is an old trick, but the lego-rotisserie-scanner is quite fun.
