View Full Version : time stretching animations-- PLEASE HELP!

I need some help. I rendered out a 300 keyframe mov animation in lightwave, however, i forgot to scale my time so that the animation doesnt run so fast (its a walk cycle for class, and he is moving across the screen too quickly). Now, i have this animation and no time to re-render.

Is there a good way to keep the integrity of the movie's render while stretching out the time so it slows down and plays longer?

Make sure you use frame blending. This will make it look smoother. Look it up in your docs and turn it on before render.:)

I'm sure it's a bit late but if you time remap in after effects you will be able to speed up and slow down your animations however you want. If you don't have AE then i'm sure any other compositing program will let you do the same. There just isn't much of a reason to re-render your footage.
