View Full Version : Problem with rendering

I created a model of a door in modo. I applied a material in c4d with noise procedurals in the color and diffuse channels.

Rendered-out, the noise channels do not appear. Changing the color does affect the door model, but he noise channels do not appear.

I added a box next to the door model, and applied the same material to it (as you can see in the picture), and the noise channels render without problems.

The door model was exported as an .obj from modo into c4d.

Here is a pic;

I'm not exactly a noob at c4d, and have never seen this issue before.
Does anyone know what the issue may be ?

To troubleshoot this you could simplify things. You've got a lot of selection tags and the material applied many times. It might be worth deleting the material tags and reapplying the texture over the whole model. Set the mapping type to cubic and select 'fit to object' from the tag menu in the object manager.
