View Full Version : Environment: Dark ages fortress
This is somthing I've been working on for the last couple of days.
I was trying for a sort of a stylized look, kind of Blizzard: Worlds of Warcraft style. I modelled it in max 4.2 and set up a custom light set, using the default rendering. I intentionaly avoided using Brazil, (not that there is anything wrong with Brazil but I wanted to challenge my lighting ability). Its not realy 'finished' just abandoned, Crits please.

I like the floor effect, the way it looks like it is plastic model and used in table top game.
the lighting on the evening shot is off, the shadows should be tinted with main light.
i think main let down is the wood textures otherwise a good pice.

Thanks for the input, I agree about the board textures, they are kind of flat.
