I am thinking about getting a quadro4 but cant find any where to buy one. Does anyone know of any web sites that have them for sale? Or are they not available yet?

Alas, Elsa(Europe) has been in deep caca for a few months now and getting hold of any of the newer announced cards from them (including all the new Quadro cards) will prove to be difficult.

About the most info I've managed to glean is here (http://www.eighty-20.com/grafix.htm).

BTW, anyone in the US having problems getting up elsa.com? According to VisualRoute I'm supposed to be aiming for Ankhara, Turkey but the route goes Birmingham, West Coast USA (possibly via Paris), East Coast USA, London and dies. Tried this with three different ISPs

Elsa is officially dead. I'm not sure if it just closed down or went bankrupt but it's gone. You'll be able to get cards for a while and then...

It seems that PNY will sell Quadro4 based cards but whe don't know when...
But HP is selling a Quadro 4 900XGL for $990,00 but it says "availability: limited" maybe someone could check it out. The link is huge:
If this huge link doesn't work just go to HP online store and search for "Quadro4".

Good price for it though.

In a sense, it's a pity they're gone. Last I heard NVidia were in consultation with various other hardware manufacturers in the event that Elsa went down and weren't about to prop them up.

It's funny, but I get the feeling that the exclusivity deal with Elsa (for Europe I think) was something they did when they were a much smaller company and they really felt the need to get away from that.
