I made this character a few weeks ago to fill in a large empty space in an environment I'm working on. It took about 30 hours to model, texture, and light him.
Here are some links to more environment renders:
Modeled in 3DS Max 5; textures done in Photoshop. Let me know what you think.
Nice work. I really like the couch design. The robot has kind of a cool 1950's design to it.

Don't stop now, you got to pose the robot! Is this for something bigger or just a still?

Thanks for the comments and crits.
E.Z. Schwartz: This was the last environment I did for my demo reel. I consider it a work in progress because I didn't quite have the time that I would have liked to add in all the little accessories and details an apartment/workshop would have. I may go back and incorporate it into something bigger at a later date.
While I'm posting, here's a link to the concept I drew for the robot:Robot Concept (http://stu.aii.edu/~ajh062/RobotTemplate.jpg)

Looks great, I also like the environment you've put the robot in. The problem with the chair in the first pic is it seems too small mesthinks.
