BMW Z8, one of my fav Bond cars. Made the modelling and texturing for about 2 - 3 weeks of my spare time :)

Very nice, you've captured the essence really well!
Might want to fix up the images though :D I especially like the wheels, I saw them and immediately thought BMW, good work!
Very nice job ! Although, on the second pic, the car's shadow seems a little too clear for me... try to make it more dark.

:buttrock: Great work you must have worked pretty hard to get that detail in three weeks. Only crit. the tyre lettering on the tyres looks strange especially in pic 3.
P.S. It's better than the other BMW Bond cars but it's not one I'd go for from 007s garage. Nice car though;)
Yeah defo the shadows on the second and third pics dont have enought depth in the shadows, they all need to be darker

only critic: as mentioned before the text on the tires.
also the door´s split line in image 2 and 3 looks like not fixed..
did you slightly moved the wheels a little outward?
in image 2 the very rear part looks a little flat (left from the BMW sign).

A few comments though, the rims are too plastics too smooth sort of! And there is something with the edge around the headlights that is kinda ruff , besides this its an amazing job I love it.
Ps I dont think the background is "crappy"

i can see in picture's 2 & 3 that the door edge doesent line up with the fender too great, and for shots like in picture 4, with the low front of the car showing, maybe u should add in some inner plastic fenderwalls. other than that i think it looks great and i like the composition.

I really like this one... It looks so real... any suggestions for someone looking to get better in terms of modeling, texturing, and lighting???
very nice work on the composition/shader.
the model looks fairly good as well, though you have some areas i would fix which are a tad off. these small things are nitpicking, but they make all the difference.
since i was/am making a z8 my self(didnt work on it for like 3 years...) i cant stand imperfections.. so here is my nitpicking for the day.
on the image i marked some of the issues i would fix, modeling wise.
A: simply shows where u need more edges so your corners would get oversmoothed, very simple.
B: again, u need more closer edges around those areas so you wont get an oversmoothing issue ..thus a very large bevel.
B on the headlight shows where u have an edge/series of edges that are not matched in continuity to the edges below them, so u get this bumpy edge in the final result. and again, there is another edge close to it missing, so u dont have fine tuned sharp bevel like the real car has.
C: just the bevel on the door is too deep inside, the real one doesnt have it so big or so deep, again some more edges to hold it back will do the trick.
besides that, your shaders/reflection environment is very nice. good job there.
to all you others, the KEY is a reflection environment when it comes to cars/metalics.. what ever it sees...it reflects, cant reflect black.unless you are a good reflection maps faker...which is not easy to do. ..or in a diff way, using images on planes as reflection walls.
not easy at all to work well in an animation.
