Hi, I made this walking elephant. It was first meant to stay in 2d but I tried to have it in 3d with Shape Animation in XSI. Here's the result. Critics welcome.

I couldn't figure out how to download your video since it wasn't in english, I would recommend uploading to vimeo or youtube to make it easier for everyone

Thanks for telling me, it looks like it only downloads directly if you have the same internet provider.
I copied it to Vimeo. http://vimeo.com/2509943

I updated the little elephant, I made it in 3d using XSI. I'll try to improve it a bit, if you have any ideas I'd be glad to hear.

Ohh! That was a joy to watch. Very different and creative take on a walkcycle.

Definitely interesting. Can you rotate around as he walks? I'd like to see what the front looks like also.

Thanks for the replies.
If you want other angles you'll be disapointed because I made it from individual parts. You can only watch it from the same angle, a bit like Egyptian drawings. The frontside view looks about the same as the back view. I didn't make any more detail, it doesn't have eyes or mouth.

I really dig this, took me back to when i was a little kid and watched that really trippy part of Dumbo where they get drunk and have that Elephants on parade acid trip! :)

Exactly what I was thinking! Are you in my head?

I updated the small elephant. I rounded the arms, corrected a few things and made him a background. Tell me what you think.

Wow, that looks great! I love the motion in the tail and trunk. Very nice. :)

Haha, I thought of the same thing. Can almost hear the music in my head.

Very surreal. Could be worked into a bigger project somehow.

Love it. Heh, the effect reminds me of back when i was into flash and how it used to automatically morph one shape into another.
