Soooo many thnx to all of u who passed by and stoped to write a hello :)
I found couple of minutes of spare time to put down some ideas.. Nothing really defined yet, but at least something to put a thumbnail next to my thread, hehe..
The first sketch shows a steampunkish city/bulb/something lifting from the ground on the horizont (its obviously huge), and the second shows a man (mad scientist maybe) who has mechanical gloves attached to his hands, controling the giant robot in the background and stomping the city.. the robot is still just a first pass, not yet designed.

So much for now!

11-17-2008, 02:09 PM
hehe I like the second sketch

and hi there and good luck!! =)

( I like your self-portrait of your blog ;) )

gonna be dope.

11-18-2008, 02:54 PM
hey my dear friends! Thank you for the feedback :) I know that those first sketches didnt show much, so I was thinking how could I bring them a bit further, incorporate them into a story and somekind of myth.

So here it is.. I'll be doing a painting based on Aladdins magic lamp and his Genie. Im not sure yet, if the painting will be set into arabic environment, and the magic lamp could also be some sort of petroleum lamp or maybe even a torch like device.. need to do some research what was used in 1800-1900's :)

The Genie will ofcourse be a giant machine

Some sketches coming soon!

11-18-2008, 03:02 PM
Ha! I think that's a pretty badass idea man, I dig it:thumbsup:

11-18-2008, 04:54 PM
You can get some cool image from the big Genie, yes ;)

11-19-2008, 12:24 PM
need more ninja!!

11-19-2008, 12:27 PM
:wavey: Blaz,

How about making Aladdin the machine instead. What sort of wishes would a machine ask for? That could be a funny twist in the story....

11-19-2008, 03:07 PM
Yep pretty kickass idea indeed.Sounds like fun man!Good luck & ...more!:D
