11 November 2008, 09:48 AM
my first sketch shows the fight between medusa and perseus,
to be correct the end of it..perseus decapitated medusa with a sword.
if i stick with it, i would like to show perseus as a human assassin.
he got several magic items, like a helmet, his winged shoes and a shield,
which i would transfer to technical items. medusa, the frightening creature with
the snake-hair, would become a completely artifical being.
well, i have to think about it..
11 November 2008, 09:50 AM
@paperclip, andreas-V, Cyberone, MrHobby: Thanks ! :D good luck to all of you.
11 November 2008, 12:49 PM
this is my first concept of the medusa bot.
i want to use the snake-hair as an exit for the steam of the engine inside.
11 November 2008, 02:51 PM
That's a very cool concept :)
11 November 2008, 03:23 PM
Nice concept! I like the idea of having Perseus as a human assassin. What do you think of having him look away from her as he decapitates her? I think that would look good and I believe in the story that he uses her reflection in his shield to decapitate her without himself turning into stone. Good luck! :)
11 November 2008, 05:43 PM
and the concept for my perseus,
including the gifts by the gods Athena and Hermes.
A sickle, a magic-hood for invisibility, winged sandals to fly, a very well polished shield to use it as a mirror and a bag for the head.
11 November 2008, 05:50 PM
@johnstrieder: thanks ! i think i will stick with it.
@M31: yes, i just read about his unique use of his shield, which was missing
in the first sketch. as you can see, he now got his shield and is ready to use it. ;)
it will be a hard task to find the right moment, action and pose for perseus.
maybe i find a cool way to include the mirror-effect of his shield..
thanks for your comment !
11 November 2008, 06:27 PM
Thtat's soo cool the Medusa concept looks really promising and strong already! and also I like the idea of the Perseus having all this machinery from the gods, makes sense and looks good as well! ;) Hope to see more and more!
11 November 2008, 07:24 PM
Very cool idea. I love the story of Perseus and Medusa. Great concepts so far.
11 November 2008, 09:57 PM
I like it all ready :)
11 November 2008, 12:24 AM
HI Lucy!Great idea.
Good luck & big fun!
11 November 2008, 10:16 AM
some sketches. my question at the moment is where to place
the objects (especially head, sword and shield).
at first i tried if perseus could hold all three in his both hands (1-3).
3 could work, but the mirror of the shield would not be shown.
sketch 4 shows the shield at a belt around his chest. but i don´t like
it at all, because it would hardly be recognized as a shield. ;)
then i tried a completely new alternative: perseus looks in his mirror-shield
and hits medusa at the same time. it would show a lot more action and would
appear more brutal, i think. well, the story is brutal anyway, but this would
be a very explicit and not a very classical way to show it. ;)
6 and 9 show moments after the death of medusa.. hm, does not really feel right.
i don´t want to put the head on the ground and the idea that he accidentally fell on a rock
does not really sound convincing. :D
7 and 8 are variations of 3 and 5 and my favorites so far.
11 November 2008, 10:23 AM
@AxelAlonso: thanks ! well, in the original story he got his equipment by the gods..
transferred to steampunk he might have got them by some brilliant engineer or something. ;)
well, doesn´t really matter for the image. but i want to show perseus in a rougher
style than the bot he is killing... well, you will see... there will be more and more ! ;)
@miketche: thanks ! hope you will like my interpretation as well.
@OKMER: thanks !
11 November 2008, 10:34 AM
I really like you concept images. I am doing the same story, however it will just be an image.
I really want to see the finished piece. I'll be watching.
11 November 2008, 10:49 AM
Hi there! :)
My favourite so far is no. 9... it's the most dramatic posewise and I think it makes for a really good composition with strong shapes. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
Just my 2c worth..
11 November 2008, 05:01 PM
Like n. 9 the best: shows the essence of the story nicely, and agree with paperclip about composition and pose shapes potential.
Best of luck!
11 November 2008, 09:48 AM
this is a more detailed drawing of sketch #7.
i continued my research about the story and found some sources
showing the inside of the shield as a mirror. this would
be a possibility to show the shield from the inside
like sketch #7 or #3 and still not hide the special feature
of this item. though the pose is not final.. doesn´t really
work yet, but i think this is the rigth way.
also the drawing shows a rough idea for the setting and background.
medusa lived in a cave on an island and i think there is no need
to change to much of that. i want to show the entry of the cave,
where several humans were turned into stone by medusas deadly sight.
11 November 2008, 10:00 AM
@GregorTheRoach: thanks! good luck for you ;)
@paperclip: thanks. i also asked some friends and the answers
differentiated a lot. both of you liked #9, but i also got
votes for 7, 4, 5, .. :D
my problem with #9 was that the head would be lying on the ground
(and the head is the most important object of the whole thing !)
or on a rock.. and i can´t imagine that you cut off a head and it
lands perfectly on a rock.
thanks for your comment, hope you will like it anyway. ;)
@musi: thanks... same answer as above. i understand that you like
the shape of the pose, but the coolest shape of the image should
be the head with the snakes. and with that i mind i think it would
be better if perseus would hold it in his hand.
11 November 2008, 10:46 AM
This idea is great, I prefer 7, I agree the head is an important feature and I like how you've left a negative space around.
Looking forward to seeing it progress.
11 November 2008, 11:18 AM
Beautiful sketches... you have such great lines and an innate sense of anatomy.
11 November 2008, 01:18 PM
Very nice work so far. I'm gonna be making (I hope) a Kraken but right now I'm not sure if I'll make Perseus and Pegasus. Will be following this one for sure:buttrock:
11 November 2008, 03:44 PM
allready the next drawing ;)
after the last sketch, i just started again to improve the pose.
still a lot of things in it that need some adjustments, but after this
step i know that this is the right way to go. i will see how you like
it and think about the composition some more time.. the next step will
be a more detailed drawing and take some more time than these sketches.
11 November 2008, 03:50 PM
@nrocks: thanks, the negative space around the head is just what i was thinking about.
@MechaHateChimp: i did a lot of practise over the last years.. but there is just no ending. thanks anyway ;) !
@SNoWs: Nice ! I would like to see your Perseus ... i also have a little idea for a Pegasus in my picture .. you will see. ;)
11 November 2008, 03:52 PM
The composition in triangle does work achieving the moment and the right effect to tell the details and history! ..my only concern about the pose will be from Medusa she looks posing sexy, and not really just being chopped out of her head! if you know what I mean? maybe make it a bit more dramatic the history and telling that she died trying her best :wip: , also if some of the body could be opened or showing the machinery out of function, could increase this mood as well! steam must be out maybe in a red color? suggestion never the less to increase the impact of this great art you are doing! :arteest:
11 November 2008, 06:04 PM
Good luck with your project! I chose the Medusa character too but in another ambient and another form :D
Medusa is cool ;)
11 November 2008, 11:05 AM
and an new sketch.
i tried to improve some points- worked on the pose of
perseus and also changed the medusa.
have to do some other stuff for a couple of days, so
there will be a little break .. which might also help
to get a fresh look for the drawing.
11 November 2008, 11:11 AM
@AxelAlonso: your comment goes in the same direction as the
opinions of some of my friends. as you can see i did some changes
around the medusa. thanks for your suggestions, i will see
if they fit in later.
@GonzaloGolpe: i allready found your medusa and i will
be happy to see more steps. looks nice!
11 November 2008, 11:14 AM
this is very interesting! me very curious about the next stage :bounce:
n you know what ... i think greek mythology is currently the artist's 'in' selection of the challenge :D
good luck to you!
11 November 2008, 12:46 PM
i found some time to try a fast value sketch .. i think it is moving in the right direction.
@nwiz25: not very suprising considering the topic of the challenge. ;) the greek mythology offers a lot of interesting stories and characters.
11 November 2008, 12:48 PM
Good choice...and good luck...your moving fast
11 November 2008, 01:07 PM
hey.. u r going nice..
check out my post as well.. am also working on Medusa.
11 November 2008, 06:02 PM
a more detailed drawing...
i will do some color thumbnails in the meantime and then start with the final drawing.
@zandy: good luck!
11 November 2008, 10:18 PM
today i made some different colors thumbnails for my scene. the last one ist my favorite so far!
11 November 2008, 11:03 AM
i took the fifth thumbnail and put some more work on it.
allthough some parts (especially the sky and the steam)
are still crappy, i think the general choice of color will
be final. for the steam part i will need more preparatory work
in the drawing. so a detailled drawing will be my next step.
11 November 2008, 12:17 PM
Hey, I really like that! I would suggest bringing the darker elements down so that only the main figure/head is surrounded by that white light- it'd help you focus on the scene somewhat more.
I may not be clear enough- I meant to say, lower the roof of the mouth of the cave. :p If that makes sense....??
11 November 2008, 12:44 PM
That's turning out beautiful! Great work!
Just for my learning: what do you get from the value sketch and how do you use it later? I can only guess that's to see the lighting... I have never done any 2d paintings, and just watching people work and trying to learn. Thanks :)
11 November 2008, 12:59 PM
Hey. I really like the concept and the design of Medusa. The image looks promising. best of luck.
11 November 2008, 01:38 PM
@paperclip: thanks for your reply! im not sure though if i
understand everything completely. how much should i lower
the cave/darker elements ? to hide the sky or should
it also be behind perseus, the guy holding the head ? well i think
you don´t want to lower it that much, because the lighting would
change a lot. well, im not sure about the lower cave in front of
the sky as well, because i think the more open sky gives
the scene a more epic feeling, if you know what i mean.
but the problem of focus is concerning me. i will try to work with
a darker sky in the upper area and a more thoughtful arrangement
of the steam. ...and hope that will solve the problem.
did i understand you und what do you think of that ?
@musi: hi alexandra. the value thumbnail ist very important to me.
when i start to think about the painting of a drawing, i like to
get a fast preview and be able to make quick changes and experiments.
from my experience the value is far more important than the saturation
or hue and so the value sketch gives me a pretty good impression of
the image. to start with full color would be harder, because you have
to consider so many things. later i use it only as reference and do not color
it or something (i don´t like coloring of greyscale images).
by the way i would always recommend it, not only for 2d illustration ! :)
@imara: thank you! the medusa design is the thing i´m working on right now,
its still vague in many points.
11 November 2008, 02:50 PM
11 November 2008, 05:52 PM
Thanks Florian, appreciate you taking gime to explane those things to me.
I see what you mean... Or hope I see what you mean :)
Looking forward to see your progress!
11 November 2008, 06:45 PM
Paperclip...what the.... lol
"wenn du geradst auf einem dunklen Filiale auf der linken seite?"
That's hilarious :D!
I totally missed your thread. I loved your strange behavior entry and I'm sure this one's
gonna rock too! I think you could put some more work in the composition. It's a dramatic
situation but the action seems a bit static. Maybe a lower camera angle?
Just a thought...
11 November 2008, 07:00 PM
Paperclip...what the.... lol
"wenn du geradst auf einem dunklen Filiale auf der linken seite?"
That's hilarious :D!
Er....um...well, it WOULD put you right in the middle of the action! :p
Hmm....wenn du farbst eines dunkles filiale auf der linken seite? My german is SO rusty!! (as if you couldn't tell, lol)
Oooh..he could put crows attacking the main dude? Just another idea. :D
11 November 2008, 07:15 PM
@paperclip: the symmetry is a good hint. i think i understand the essence
of your reply, but your english is easier to understand than your german,
allthough my english is not the best. ^^
thanks for your help!
@musi: no problem, that´s what these wip-thread are all about. :)
so just keep asking and good luck with your work.
@goro: hi and thanks for your reply. i allready tried to put some more
action in it (some steps before), but i see that its still not enough
and too static. i´ll think about it and see what i can do... i don´t
really want to change that much any more... but i know i should.. :banghead:
good luck with your entry... i saw it of course (hard to miss ;) )
and i´m looking forward to more steps.
@paperclip#2 : crows ? now i´m starting to get confused.
what do you mean by "filiale" ?
11 November 2008, 07:50 PM
I really like your idea! Good composition too, but whilst you're playing with the lighting concepts I think it would look more impressive if you had light beaming in from the outside of the cave, being picked up by the steam. It adds a bit of extra interest to the scene with the idea that there is more to see than what is there. Also, a beam of light once something bad is killed portrays good overcoming evil. Just a thought :)
11 November 2008, 10:28 PM
Hammer! Licht und Farbgebung gefallen mir total! Werd ein Auge drauf werfen! :)
11 November 2008, 11:42 PM
Nice work so far :) I agree that the 5th is the most promising version.
11 November 2008, 02:14 AM
back to the start... ;)
i had an idea to get more tension into my image...
its hard to take a big step back... but when you know there is something wrong...there is no other choice. :)
i hope you get the idea of these rough sketches... otherwise wait for a new drawing, which is going to follow soon. :)
11 November 2008, 02:20 AM
@M477: thanks for your comment... in the new version your
idea could fit in nicely...as you can see the cace takes more
room in the new sketch and that could be a possibility
to include some light beaming.
@hide: danke hide! hoffe das krieg ich mit rüber, das passte mir auch
schonganz gut in der alten version.. nur vom meer muss ich mich wohl trennen.. :|
sieh mal zu dass du anfängst ;)
11 November 2008, 02:21 AM
I really like this last sketch of yours, seems so very dramatic and epic :) Composition is sweet as well, perhaps it could be neat if the background was leaning more towards the middle? I am not sure how to explain, but, I cannot wait to see more :)
11 November 2008, 02:49 AM
Great sketches! I like the direction you aretaking with the new composition, I think it will makefora more energetic image for sure... looking forward to seeing where it goes.
11 November 2008, 01:33 PM
Great comp. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.
11 November 2008, 02:07 PM
Really like the new composition-but-jet powered boots? Not very steampunklike, though? Give him cute little wings on the ankles, like Mercury!
11 November 2008, 02:35 PM
I like the composition.
11 November 2008, 03:48 PM
Way better! I kind of like the upper left sketch best.
I don't know if it was your intention but
it looks like he is floating in the air looking down to the medusa holding
her head up so she can't reach it. I can feel a nice tension between those
two characters. Seems like he is showing off his victory. (I would move him slightly
to the left)
The sketch on the right is good too. If you go with that, I would push the line
of action a bit more on him and maybe the medusa could fall forward towards
the camera to emphasize the depth. Right now it looks like the action is happening
on one plane. It would be nice to have some bigger element in the foreground.
but I think storywise I'd prefer the upper left.
And big respect for starting over! I know how hard it is to do a step back
but hey it's looking way better! Keep it up!
11 November 2008, 11:51 PM
Love your pre work, a really nice shot as well, will love to how you develop your piece, cheers and good luck!
11 November 2008, 12:33 AM
Great work so far, like a lot your concept and sketches :)
Maybe Perseus rising more the Medusa's head on a more victorius gesture, I think I'm a bit late with this comment :) Again, great work!! Cheers!!
11 November 2008, 10:54 AM
a new sketch with some thoughts about the values and lighting. i thought about this new pose for the medusa, to get in some more perspective. and overall some more litttle adjustments...
11 November 2008, 11:19 AM
@daxtor: thanks ! ;) do you mean some more emphasis
of the third vanishing point ? i hope to get your point. ^^
@Nigel-Q: thanks. i think so, too... some more work right now, but it will pay off.
@paperclip: strange image...
the boots are powered by compressed air (he got a gas cylinder on his back)
in the new image he needs them to fly, so this has to work. :D
@JackZhang: thx !
@goro: im happy you like the new scene. as you can see in the newest sketch
he doesn´t show the head to the dying medusa... allthough it was not my intention,
i see what you mean in the first little sketch. but there are no eyes in the body...
so i think it wouldn´t make much sense to show it to the body. i want to show perseus
escaping from the cave, while the dying body of medusa is trying desperately to
reach for perseus and the head.
thanks for your comment and help !
@rupy: thanks ! i´m looking forward to the next steps.. have a good feeling about the new scene. ;)
@ferx: thanks.. as you can see i did not really go for the victorius pose...goro
had the same idea, but i think this is a better solution. anyway the pose still means
a lot of work and the idea of perseus victory is very important.
11 November 2008, 12:08 PM
Now this is action :)
12 December 2008, 03:40 PM
the drawing is not final, but it will be my base for the next step: a new color-thumb.
i will stick with the old colors and see how they fit in.
have to do some other things first, so there will be some delay.
12 December 2008, 05:51 PM
Nice update! I have a few suggestions though...
Right now when I look at the drawing I'm not sure where I should look first...my eye
is jumping around. Also the medusa looks still a bit stiff. If you scale her a little bit and
rotate her whole body clockwise her arm will lead the eye to her head and it also looks more
dynamic that way.
I also would push the forshortening of his body a little bit. Maybe exaggerate
the perspective and make his left arm a lot larger than his right. Medusas head pops out that way a lot more.
Maybe something similar to this...
12 December 2008, 06:21 PM
Nice composition! I really like this pose! I liked your previous color thumbs, so I can't wait to see what you do with this one.
12 December 2008, 08:10 PM
this composition is much better. good job.
12 December 2008, 06:13 PM
12 December 2008, 12:35 AM
Fantastic concepts, designs and line art. My first impression from a brief scroll is that the composition on 11/22 was stronger than the current one. More classic. I liked that the hero was in the foreground and I liked that the medusa head was still close to her body so you could visually link them. Now that there's more separation you lose the sense of the character.
I haven't looked as closely at the conversation about the new comps as I should before commenting, but wanted to mention it unless I don't get a chance to come back soon.
12 December 2008, 01:30 AM
I did a new colored sketch of the new scene. not really finished, but i think the old color scheme ist still the right choice.
thanks for your nice replies, i will answer soon !
12 December 2008, 02:05 AM
love the composition! the color scheme is just nice for the steampunk, rusty feel. hope to see more:) cheers:applause:
12 December 2008, 11:44 AM
Hey Lucy I just saw your entry..... We are doing the same story!!! I can't believe I missed that so far. It's a damn difficult subject isn't it? But I can see you're tackling it really well. You've got some great sketches and cool action. The new compo is indeed better, more intense and gives the opportunity for cool lighting but I think maybe Perseus is losing his grandeur flying around like this. His standing position was more emblematic. Maybe you should make him stand in the air holding Medussa's head away from her like Goro said.... I guess you've seen Benvenuto Cellini's sculpture, I think that's the pose you sould go for, or something like that... Anyway these are my thoughts...
I would really appreciate you taking a look at my entry. It's a lot more introspective and the approach is different... I'm having a really hard time deciding the composition. I was also troubled by the shield and half of my sketches (which I havent posted) show him holding it with the right hand as you did.... I am really looking forward to your feedback....
12 December 2008, 05:19 PM
immer noch superschick von der Lichtgebung! Die Komposition ist auch stimmig!
Freu mich auf updates! :)
12 December 2008, 05:59 PM
Love the dynamic composition!
The colours are awesome too. Lovley cast shadows as well.
fantastic volume and depth in your image even when it is in such a rough loose state
Really like that pose and placement Goro made on Medusa.
You should definatley go for that one I think.
Good luck! This is looking really promising :)
12 December 2008, 04:31 AM
the light is awesome, i love this concept!
12 December 2008, 06:39 PM
@goro: i am aware of the fact that in this moment
the focus of the drawing is not very clear.
with colors that would look different, but anyways
your changes are very interesting...i will definitely
go with the changes of the medusa. the exaggeration of the
perspective is a little too much in my eyes. i will try some
more for myself and see what i can do.
thanks for your help!
@waffles: thank you ! ;)
@markw7: the old composition was much more classic, thats right.
i think both variants have pros and cons, but for me the new variant
is the image i really want to draw this time. thanks for
your opinion, i still like the old image as well.
@stylize: thanks ! :)
@alrihos: i know that there are at least 2 more medusas in the challenge,
the greek mythology is very popular these days. ;) there are also some
more "perseus" images but your entry is the secound perseus vs medusa entry.
i will give you some feedback in your thread.
i have also seen the statue you are talking about and recognize the
feeling it gives to the scene. my image got more action than the
classic scene , but for that other apects are weakened... you can´t
get them all. i will definitely stick with this new direction and try
to get my best out of it.
@hideyoshi: danke ! dauert zur zeit alles ein bisschen länger,
wegen viel zu tun und so.. aber es ist ja noch zeit.
schön dass es bei dir endlich was zu sehn gibt. ;)
@Comlock: thanks a lot for your nice comment. :)
i agree with your opinion about the medusa and i will see
what i can do.
@VictorRojo: thanks! i hope you will also like the final image.
12 December 2008, 04:27 PM
this is a great concept, maybe you should sharpen the angle though, just a suggestion
12 December 2008, 10:04 PM
I like so far what you got! I must say the action line reads in the cool factor and I am sure your colors will add the wow  effect! and the designs are reading all the positive attention, in your composition. Keep working hard! It´s looking great :arteest:
12 December 2008, 03:05 AM
A new update with a new drawing. :)
12 December 2008, 05:35 AM
Awesome compositions and design! Medusa looks great too. I can't wait to see this in color.
12 December 2008, 08:54 AM
that's what I'm talking about!
way more dynamic, way better!
12 December 2008, 02:12 AM
finally some painting....the most enjoyable part after all the preparation.
let me know what you think.
12 December 2008, 02:18 AM
@womball: here you go ;) there not so much time left, so the next step
won´t take too long.
@goro: thanks for the nice comment and for your help !
12 December 2008, 05:42 AM
This is really coming along nicely. Great colors and composition. Keep up the good work
12 December 2008, 07:02 PM
wow I had an idea about steampunk medusa too - but your concept is so beautiful, keep up the great work
12 December 2008, 08:48 PM
Hey I like the darkness and the colors work well at this point. sweet!
12 December 2008, 10:13 AM
I believe u make great job.
& u are very professional?
U know exactly where do u go
JUST GO AHEAD.
12 December 2008, 11:20 AM
Great composition. I nearly did a Medusa as well, but felt that it would be too popular - glad I chose to do something different, cause yours is far better than what I'd have come up with haha.
Looking forward to seeing this one done :)
12 December 2008, 09:18 PM
Love the billowing steam and the shadow. Great sense of space.
12 December 2008, 08:34 PM
so far it is the most interesting entry for me.
you definitely see some compositional skill here and a very confident hand.
i understand that the entire composition is very deliberate and reminds me of Frazetta's work - compositional balance and dynamism in the same time.
one thing that seems to me exaggerated a little too much is the lighting on the person in the air and the corresponding shadow in the background. again - i understand it is deliberate compositional decision but is so off that it immediately draws attention (mine at least :) ) The lighting on the person suggest a light source pretty much from the back and to the left. while the shadow would have come from a light the is almost frontal - which would produce a lot different effect on the person.
i'm not sure how it could be fixed - maybe another source of light visible on the person?
but the image will be great even without fixing that.
impressive work! good luck!

new update ! this ist the first "work in progress"-step
of the final resolution, which is about ~8000x5000 px.
i changed a some things on perseus, he got
a new gun and a wrench on his belt.
especially his shield and legs are still very rough,
but next thing to do will be the medusa to take
her to the same level. in the background i want
to show some of her victims, who are turned into stone.

01 January 2009, 02:04 AM
Powerful shot, dynamic angle and colours, awesome !
01 January 2009, 10:23 PM
the next update :)
another day for rendering and details
and one last day for finishing and some more steam, oil and other effects.
01 January 2009, 03:32 AM
@dario: hey, danke! ich hab beides etwas reingemalt, aber irgendwie sträubt sich
was in mir, das noch blauer/heller zu machen. egal, muss fertig werden jetzt. ;)
viel glück dir auch für die letzten 2 tage.
@AUMAKUA: thanks to you ! :)

Looking great! I love the cool to warm movement of colour in the piece, and the main character is looking awesome.
01 January 2009, 12:18 AM
I would recommend some more play between hard and soft edges ... maybe some really sharp edges in the steampunk-heart of the lower body and the highlight on the cutted-head really sharp too. so you have really highlighted those as focal points.
And in the opposite .. get the background even softer ... now its a bit fuzzy (also äh, fleckig ;))
Sharp adges against soft edges is always the same as making clear shapes.
Decide where you wanne have a clear shape(hard edge) and where you don't wanne have them(equals soft edge) ... now its full of "no decision"-places where you say "yeah, well, something in between" ...

my update for this night ...
i worked on the snakes and the background.
a lot of work still waiting in the lower region...
@nigel: thank you ! ;)
@dura: yeah, the patchy look is always there..
i will consider your words during the next steps.
01 January 2009, 11:40 AM
The colors are looking so good :) With the extra time in hand, you can make this spectacular.

01 January 2009, 03:51 PM
nice, i like it ;]
01 January 2009, 05:56 PM
01 January 2009, 06:16 PM

"Perseus and the Medusa"
As i thought about the topic, several myths came to my mind. I got
to Medusa and at once it was clear to me that this is my way for this
challenge. I read about the story of a horrible creature and a human,
equipped with mighty weapons and items by the gods.
I wanted show a scene of a fight between a living being and a machine.
I loved to think of Medusa as a rotot and Perseus as a human who uses
technology and tools for his quest.
In my image i show the moment after the fight, when perseus can escape
with the head of the medusa, who lies at the bottom of her cave.
Thanks everybody for your help and motivation ! :)
01 January 2009, 02:06 AM
