Hey there,

The team driven by VFX Supervisors Michael Owens, and CIS Vancouversí Geoff Hancock did some amazing work to create VFX that hopefully will never be noticed by the viewing public. Studied endlessly by their peers no doubt. Do it now.

Wow...I practically crapped my pants when I saw that the video posted on page 1 of the article was originally shot on a blue screen with set extensions added later. Fantastic work to all involved!

From a cg standpoint it was simply astonishing how many render passes were needed for some of the shots in this film. Kudos to the compositors who worked their magic. I can't wait to see the full feature when it's out.
