View Full Version : Splitting and Offsetting animation curves

I want to setup a leg rig system in maya that consists of one leg that is animated while the other leg gets fed the animation curves, but also offsets them by half of the length of the animation.

the idea is to quickly setup and tweak walk cycles by only having to animate one leg.

i have the animation being fed from one leg to the other no prob, but i don't know enough about offsetting the timing of the curves..

any ideas?
am i approaching this wrong?
