Am I the only one that finds the character designs of this film extremely unappealing?

All I can say is WTF?
I thought it was something like a one man project until I seen the names of real actors at the end.

Ohh Delgo is a project that is older than this forum...

Do a search and you will find out a lot about it..

I think he problem is that is to old of an idea already, I remember seen the same stuff like back in 2004 while going to school!

I agree. Looks awfully dated and unappealing.

Looks too much like Victor Garrido's "Luna" Which is like 10 years old I think. :curious:
(In character design I mean)

You know, I am really loking forward to this. Mainly because I've seen trailers years ago. I am interested what have they done in these years. Besides, I liked the concept for the environment (while I don't like the characters that much).

i dont see any special feature to be awed, well at least from the trailer. Why did it took so long to make?

By far the best Delgo trailer I have seen. I imagine it just takes that long to get backing for release in these cases. I think of it more as a triumph for a smaller company to get it out there and don't think it looks dated.

They have dailies on web site, and other info.
Very interesting, plus more info on Fathom studios from Atlanta...

I've looked few dailies, and they look quite good.
My main issue is with character design, the characters look like each other too much.
Why is that?
Shame, since judging by trailer, they don't lack imagination at all...
Also I feel that color palete and lighting could be braver, with more contrasts.
But looks promising...

I saw the trailer on TV the other night. My jaw dropped at teh fact that it finally wrapped up production. I remember following their dailies back in the mid-nineties when they first started working on it. I wonder what Val Kilmer and some of the other voice talent will think now that the movie is coming out 10 years later.

Will Roberto be posting his movie review thread on this one?
