Hi all! I wanted to know what Normal Passes are for? For example, if I render out a Diffuse and Normals pass using the Render Elements (I use VRay for my rendering), what can I use it for? I'd appreciate any/all help and info you guys can throw my way. Thanx!

You may control some real time kind of lighting.
It's for Shake, but can be applied for any compositing app.

As scrimski said you can use a G-Buffer Builder to add the Normals Pass to the Diffuse and then light the image and cast shadows in Combustion using a 3D Composite (also requires ZDepth and enabling 3D Shading and 3D Depth in the composite settings). Look up "Compositing Rich Pixel Renderings" in the Combustion Help for more info.
