View Full Version : Viper Classic with KURV Studios tutorial

Though the tutorial is actually for Lightwave, I was able to follow along in Modo. It was
actually better for learning, as it forced be to try various tools to get a LW equivalent.
As you can see, I went beyond the tut, modeling the hull panels instead of texturing
them, modeling the landing gear, and now, getting ready to do the cockpit. :) Still, for
a first serious model, it's not too bad.

Very nice model with a lot of detail. Nice organization of meshes to stay focused.

Lighting could be better, shadows and composite the model in some kind of background would give the model some scale. Try using a wider angle lens and shoot up at the model to create the illusion of size.

What's the polygon count? And time to render?

Overall, a nice job.
