This is the first animation walkcycle I've created . I've tried to portray the guys as really depressed :cry:. Imagine he got rejected when he proposed marriage to his love ;) .

I'm trying to learn animation myself at the moment. The only comment I can give with certainty is there probably needs to be some up and down movement in the hips.

Exaggerate the movement in the torso and head a little more. Show the weight he is bearing.

Looks like a good start. For me, I feel the animation is missing the appearance of weight on the character. It looks a little like he is sliding along the floor with no weight put on his legs as his hips move very little. As Jasonio said, have the hips move to portray the balance and load of weight in the character. Definitely have a good base, animation-wise, to build on.

I took advice from you guys and increased a few of the already layed out values for the hips such as the Sway and the up/down.

How about this ->
