This is too fun to miss out on. Gonna try to wip something in my off hours, which means its mostly gonna be a weekend thing so my eyes arent bleeding from looking into a screen 16 hours a day 7 days a week.
No concept on this one. I wanna make it out of "pieces" instead of a regular body. I wanna see where this will take me down the road.

thanks. im gonna try to get 90% of the modelling done this long weekend. 3 days should suffice...
im actually struggling between making the "chair" an actual chair or a motorbike type seat you lean on. I started the seat but im not sold with that idea. Once that and the front end is done, i can go in and get some details going.

small update. integrated in some side skirts, a front with a headlight and grill (which i dont know if i will keep yet) and a seat. The thinking behind the motorcycle influence on the seating is that this thing is made for a straight-arrow drag racing type speed. Its not nible and definately not made for comfort. We shall see how it all works out. Here's some pics.

I like the whole bike-seat idea, but I think your design is too short and blunt to communicate speed... right now it looks like some kind of OCC-chopper-style-bike. But I can't figure out the scale of this thing not even with the seat so when you get more details in there I might change my mind.

im actually scrapping the front end because its too blunt like you said and allows no room for the controls and HUDs. ill re-model it based on the star wars BARC speeder where its a more streamlined look and i might give it 2 intakes instead of just 1.

Yeah, a good idea to make 2 intakes.
You could make them half as long as the car/speeder and give the model more volume, hope you know what i mean :-)

havent been feeling overly creative lately and my new stuff shows. i need a break from work so yeterday and today (albeit i did throw some ideas in there) im gonna take it easy.
Im pondering wehter to make the intakes box based or cylindrical. i finished a cyliner one with rotor blades inside it and made it look like a torpedo. Looks decent but how im gonna connect it to the main body will remain to be seen.
After i do the front end, im gonna move to finish the bar handles which are kinda like a bike's but more akin to a elliptical trainer model where you have more movement. Basically you'll be able to use your arms and weight to pull off the manouvering of the vehicle. The grips are done so now its only the actual main structure thats left to do.
Step 3 would be to do some geometry based holoHUDs and do a last pass of detailing.
The harder part is to get into the mood and not force it.:bounce:
