View Full Version : Mental Ray and Instancing

I am trying to render instanced particles in mental ray. The geometry renders but MR is using the wrong uv set!? Maya software renders the right texture placement on the instances but MR uses some kind of placement of its own choosing. Even though MR renders the original geometry properly.
Any ideas?

never mind- I exported my original geometry with materials and reimported it .
