View Full Version : WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS RIG?!?!?! (MotionBuilder Problem, .fbx)

Alrighty, I've been working ALL day trying to get this rig to work in Kaydara Motion Builder and I've worked out most of the bugs except 4!

So, I load up this .fbx file of mine (exported from LW of course), and I try to characterize it. Well, it gives me 4 errors and doesn't do it, and I can't figure out why I'm getting these errors! I modelled my skelegon rig identical to others that I've seen work with MB!

What is wrong? Policarpo! Helllp!

Your character is facing positive Z in Lightwave. Negative Z turns out to be Positive Z in Motion Builder. You can spin the character around with the FBX root in MB to face Positive Z in Motion Builder before you characterize.

The next problem is you don't have the correct hierachy for Motion Builder.
