I felt it was finally time to throw my hat in on one of these challenges. This is some concept in progress for a game project I'm actually working on, so really what could be a more perfect choice.

This particular character is Devi.
Devi is rightous fury embodied. A primal force of agression and power. She attacks swiftly, smoothy, and brutally.
On the battlefield, her thralls gain great advantages of speed and destructive force. What her legions lack in perception and stealth they more than balance with might. She, herself, lacks in defensive ability and ranged attacks, but let god help the poor soul that comes within her reach.
Normally, If I were modelling a human character I would probably start with an older stock human model I had made. Seeing as this is a challenge I have started by quickly roughing out a new base model..... more to come

I'm finding the biggest challenge in this "challenge" so far is finding time to actually work on this character. Well here is another update.

looks like I gotta pick up the pace if I hope to get this challenge done in time... I'll have to powerhouse the textures.
a few more additions to the geometry as well as a few tweaks and I should be done the model. Any glaringly obvious problems?

Okay here she is for the last time... as the crunch approaches I'll be frantically texturing from here on out. Hope I can make it.
